I might only be a 12th grader, but I’ve lived in Upper Arlington, Ohio for most of my life. Homes for sale in Upper Arlington Ohio are expensive. Between school, hanging out with friends, and the countless hours I’ve spent riding my bike around the neighborhood, I’ve come to know the ins and outs of this place quite intimately. And let me tell you, if you’re considering moving to Upper Arlington, you’re in for a treat!
Why Upper Arlington?
- The Schools: First and foremost, the school system here is fantastic. As a student at Upper Arlington High School, I can personally vouch for the quality of education. The teachers are dedicated, and the programs are diverse. From arts to athletics, there’s something for everyone.
- Community Feel: Upper Arlington has this tight-knit community vibe. The annual Fourth of July parade, the Labor Day Arts Festival, and the Golden Bear Scramble are just a few of the events that bring people together.
- Location: Located just a stone’s throw away from downtown Columbus, you’re never too far from the bustling city life. But at the same time, the tree-lined streets of Upper Arlington provide a peaceful escape.
The Homes
From Tudor-style homes to contemporary builds, the diversity in the architecture here is something to admire. As I bike through the winding streets, I can’t help but admire the homes that showcase history, character, and sometimes, a modern twist.

For those interested in the property market, Upper Arlington offers a variety of options:

From my casual observations (and a few sneaky peeks at real estate signs while on my bike rides), you might find listings starting in the mid-$300s and soaring to well above a million for the more luxurious properties.
In Conclusion
As I prepare to graduate and face the world beyond high school, I feel grateful for growing up in Upper Arlington. This place has shaped me in more ways than I can count. And while I might be biased, I genuinely believe that anyone would be fortunate to call this place home.
